Ann Marie Cushing

For over 25 years, Ann Marie Cushing has been an International and National Integrative Behavioral and Contemplative Science Health Educator, Advisor, and Advocate consulting for hospitals, clinics, foundations, medi-spas, life sciences, education and wellness centers throughout the US, Asia, and Southeast Asia

Ann Marie was the Acting President and COO of The Pavillion, an integrative bio-health, life-style, and life-science center presently in development in the Washington DC area. Ann Marie sits on numerous Boards of Directors, Boards of Trustees, and advisory boards for a wide variety of organizations such as the New York Open Center, the Voice of Hope, and the California Institute of Human Sciences. She has also been the Program Coordinator and mentor for the Sound and Music Certification Program at The New York Open Center.

Over a span of 12 years, Ann Marie worked for Columbia University Medical Center and Continuum Partners as Managing Director of 36 Medical programs and 9 clinics and 69 divisions within the Department of Psychiatry. 

Ann Marie has a BA in Political Science and International Relations from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MGA from UMUC. She holds a French Culture and Language certification from La Sorbonne. She is certified in Holistic Psychology, Sound and Light Therapy, Tai Chi, QiGong, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Biodynamic Cranial Sacral, and Yoga.

Ann Marie has traveled worldwide as a spokesperson and advocate for the health and integrative medicine modalities. She has also been a producer-director of small independent films on the subject of health and music for Four Corners Productions and Buttonsny. As an Explorer member since 2002, Ann Marie has filmed in Cambodia, Cuba, and the Mediterranean, focusing on the solar eclipse.
