What Music Means to Me
Music has been my best friend, always with me, I can listen to music and music listens to my heart and comforts it. I can express my deepest feelings, beyond words or conscious understanding, as I feel the compassion come back and comfort me. Music is a mirror and window to my soul. My connection with music resonates in my soul and connects me to spiritual realms so much more powerful and capable than I am on my own. The vibrations connect me to choirs of angels that carry me on their wings when I am weak and sad. Joy can also be expressed and felt in music without any explanations needed. Even if "on the outside", my music hasn't received standing ovations or even if it has been openly rejected, it still remains within me and on the deepest level, it is beyond reach of the critics, even my own.
Music has connected me not only to the God of my understanding but also to many groups of people and many powerful and not so powerful but very real people. Music connects me to others whose face I have never seen and to those that I love but are no longer standing here on earth. Music has given me travels around the world and adventures beyond my wildest dreams. My music is who I am; my music reflects who I am and my heart. I am inseparable from my music. My music is the same to me as breathing and eating. I have followed my heart, my own path, even when the path was very overgrown or never yet walked on. Even in the dark, I continued to listen to and follow my music. Even though I am more than my music, music is an integral part of me. Music is a form of truth and truth isn't to be judged, it is to be seen and accepted, just as light is. Music is my passion, it holds me in comfort, gives me hope and builds my faith, it brings me steadfast joy, peace and comfort. I can also feel and see my fears as well as my blocks and my struggles in my music. I have learned so many lessons in my life through this unending journey with music. What is your passion? I want to share my passion and the gift of music with others in every way possible, by the grace of God. It is my desire that my music would express this message of love and be both a passageway and a soft place for to rest as it accompanies them on their path to more healing, freedom, truth, passion and love.
Let music help you find your Divine bliss and choose to be there as often as possible. Music creates powerful vibrations that can carry and connect us to so many places. It can be a bridge filling in gaps and taking us to places perhaps otherwise inaccessible. Music can connect us to our Higher Power, heart, soul, feelings, past, dreams, blocks, beauty, transformation, joy, peace, acceptance, comfort, healing, truth and, our bliss.
